About Me

I am originally from Texas and spent 20 years traveling across the United States as a military spouse while my husband served in the Air Force as an officer. During those years, I learned just how important home truly is. Home is stability. It is comfort. It is where families build their future.

Before entering the mortgage industry, I worked in education and earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. My background in education shaped the way I guide clients today. I believe people deserve clarity, strong leadership, and someone who takes the time to truly explain the process rather than rush them through it.

After experiencing so many moves and watching families constantly transition, I felt called to help people plant roots of their own. That led me into the mortgage industry and eventually to opening my own brokerage.

I started this company because I wanted things done the right way. I wanted clear communication. I wanted creative solutions for buyers who do not fit into a perfect box. Most of all, I wanted to help people that other lenders might overlook.

Today we help buyers across Texas and Louisiana. That includes first time homebuyers, veterans using VA benefits, self employed business owners, construction loans, renovation loans, rural development loans, clients working to improve their credit, and families purchasing higher priced homes that require jumbo financing.

Some of our clients come to us confident and ready. Others come to us unsure where to start or worried they will not qualify. Many are afraid they will never be able to buy a home at all.

We do not give up on people who are serious about homeownership. If there is a way forward, we will find it. If today is not the right time, we create a clear plan and walk with you step by step until you are ready to close.

My faith guides how I run this business. I am a Christian business owner and actively serve in the children's ministry at New Beginnings Church in Gilmer. Integrity, honesty, and commitment are not marketing words to us. They are standards we live by.

Outside of work, I am blessed to be married with four children, two daughters in law, and a grandson. One of my daughters in law even works alongside us at Blue J Mortgage, which makes this business even more personal to our family. I enjoy shopping, fishing, and spending as much time as possible with the people I love.

Helping families build stability through homeownership is more than a career to me. It is a responsibility I take seriously and a privilege I am grateful for every single day.
